Recently, I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to get a free Blurb Book. If you don’t know what Blurb is, it’s a creative publishing platform that allows anyone to create, share and sell a professional quality book.
They have a new feature where you can pull pictures directly from Facebook or Twitter. It makes it super easy to make a book!
I used photos from our trip back in 2008 where we went to Brazil and Argentina because I had never gotten around to making a photo album. Side note – I love digital photos, but I do miss having tangible photos to put in an album. That’s one of the great things about Blurb…I get the best of both worlds.
Oh, and did I mention it was easy to put together. I was even able to do it while sitting in a hotel room in Cinque Terre, Italy. All you need is a computer and an Internet connection.
The photo book I received measures a 7″ square. I was able to customize the cover with 4 photos (as an aside, I did forget this part so it’s a random 4 photos, but it’s ok). I also forgot to add a photo to the back cover…oops.
But, I love how it turned out.
The Blurb interface was pretty intuitive and I was able to custom arrange photos however I wanted.
Some pages have only one photo, while others have two or four. And in the end, I’m just really happy to have a book documenting our engagement trip!
